Fun at the Pool in the Winter Time

Image
My children love going swimming, so when a friend at school had a birthday party at the local pool, they were more than happy to attend. It seemed like the whole third grade (and a few other kids) were at the party! They had a gurgling fun time!

Pinewood Derby

My son had a fun time working on his pinewood derby car. He did most of the work himself, and received some guidance from my best friend. His car proved to be a top performer and my son won third place! His best friend won first place!

Heels, Heels, Heels!!! My daughter loves 3 inch or taller heels. She also loves putting make-up on herself, her mom, and my friend. We had a great girls day out that ended at the movie "New Moon."

My Little Inventor!

My son devised a contraption that allows the puppy to turn "on" and "off" his bedroom light. I laughed and laughed, until he and the puppy showed me, it really works!!!

Yes, he hung up his shirts, but I wish he would hang them up the correctly!

Breakfast BEFORE Bed!

Image
My daughter counts the meals she eats each day and hates it if she misses one of them. Today, my children slept in, so the first meal they ate was lunch. By the evening my children realized they had not eaten breakfast and were bound and determined to eat "breakfast" before they went to bed. I know...my children are eating sugar cereal, which I should not even have in my house anymore! Yes, he is sitting on the table wrapped up in a blanket because he is cold. He should really be sitting in a chair and dressed in warmer PJ's.

Meatballs Yuck!

Image
"Meatballs yuck!" That is what my children said about dinner tonight. My daughter had me laughing so hard because she just went on and on about it and the peas on her plate. She claimed she has tried meatballs and peas in Kindergarten and hated them ever since. My son used to like meatballs, so I don't know why he doesn't like them now. He did finally eat his meatball after I had him race his sister. My daughter chewed hers up and spit it back out on her plate! Lovely!

It's Pinewood Derby Time Again!

Image
My son worked all day with my friend, Darla on his car for the Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby. I had to take pictures to prove that he worked on it himself. He did get a little help here and there from Darla, but he did a lot himself too. I was very thankful Darla was able to help him, because I would have had zero clue what to do. They only thing I was able to help with was the stamping part!
