Here are my Cutie Pies on Easter Sunday! The Easter Bunny is very good about putting religious stuff in the Easter Basket. Here is my daughter showing a DVD called Esther and the King . You can see a Jesus book in her basket! She also received a book about heroes from the Book of Mormon. Only two chocolate items. Mom is a big pig and if my children get too much chocolate, it will be gone in my mouth the minute they leave it! Now how did that Sponge Bob Square Pants Nintendo DS game get in the basket? I swear that was not put in the basket by the Easter Bunny!! I see the stuff the Easter Bunny brought in the basket, which include a DVD called Ammon & King Lamoni , a book about heroes from the Book of Mormon (different from my daughter's), and a Jesus book called In the Garden . He too received two chocolate items. Here we all are! I hate pictures of me, but I have to take them. Otherwise my children would grow up wondering why I am never in a picture! Here my children are at the Easter Egg Hunt! It was very cold this morning (36 degrees). I had to finally go get my daughter a coat to wear. Do you see the eggs in the tree? Both of my children saw them and still ran past them once the hunt started! Look at my daughter's red nose and cheeks! She has a coat on and she is still cold! Here my children are coloring Easter eggs! Notice how the colors are divided between "Boy Colors" and "Girl Colors!" Funny, huh? Look at that crazy smile my son gave. I hate it when my children give fake smiles!

My work sent me to New Orleans, LA, in July 2006. The damage the city had experienced from Hurricane Katrina could still be seen and smelled (mold) all around. I took my children with me and we made a little vacation out of it. We went to the Audubon Zoo, which was way cool. It too had damage from Hurricane Katrina and some of the animals were temporarily relocated while the zoo was doing repairs. The Louisiana Swamp Exhibit at the zoo, looked like a real swamp. The only difference is at the real swamp the alligators swam all over the place and jumped up out of the water (for hotdogs or marshmallows the tour guide was throwing in the water). At the zoo the alligators seemed to lay motionless. I guess we needed to throw them some food, huh? While at the zoo, we got to see white alligators, which my children loved. These pictures were taken in July 2007 in Yellowstone National Park. My children loved all the wild animals, hotpots, and geysers they saw, but they hated all the driving. I love these pictures of my best friend and son down by the river (even though I hate the red outfit my son is wearing). My daughter was asleep in the car, so she missed out on these female elk. Of course elk can be seen everywhere in Yellowstone National Park, so my daughter was still able to see some. NOTE: I just barely added photos to this layout. The layout was done in November 2007, at a scrapbook retreat in Eden, Utah, that my up-line Brandy Jo did. The left side is from the December 2007 CTMH Workshop. My daughter LOVES horses! She wanted a real horse for her birthday. We don’t even live in a neighborhood that allows horses. And I could NOT even afford to buy a horse if I wanted to. So when I heard that Wellsville, Utah, was having a horse parade on my daughter’s 5th birthday (August 18, 2007), we had to go. I was a little disappointed in the horse parade, because it only had about 25 horses in it. I was hoping for a good hour or two of horses walking by! My daughter still LOVED it! And it was so nice of them to have it on her special day! My son doesn’t look happy in these pictures. I think he was getting tired of waiting for the parade to start and then it ended too fast. This layout was inspired by Majorie Eno’s color challenge #9 . We had to use at least three of the following colors: Hollyhock, Sunkiss Yellow, Sweet Leaf, and Cranberry. Thanks, Marjorie, for inspiring me to be creative and use colors I would never think of using together. These pictures of my daughter were taken during the summer of 2007 when she was 4 ½ years old. She loves to wear her princess dresses. Every time we go to Disneyland she has to wear a princess dress at least one of the days. We take a different dress each year we go. At the end of the summer we are going to Disney World which will be a first for my children. My daughter wants to wear a Sleeping Beauty gown. My daughter is so excited and keeps asking if she needs to pack. Boy it will be a long summer with her asking every day! She also loves horses and loves riding the carousel horses. She has to talk to the horse after her ride and will always give it a kiss. She does that at Lagoon (an amusement park in Utah), too...

I love the title of this layout, but I would have never used it if I didn’t do your challenge. These pictures of my son were taken during the spring of 2007 when he was 6 ½ years old. I look at these pictures and my son looks so much older now. Wow, how quickly they grow! The hat was bought at Disneyland and is from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas . My son loves that hat! He also loves his skateboard and is always asking to go to the skateboard park. When I take him, he and all the other young boys have to sit up top and wait until the older boys decide to take a rest. Otherwise, he would get knocked down. They almost need a skateboard park for the young boys and another for the older ones. My son looked at the pictures and asked what the 360 meant. I told him it was because that day he was flipping his skateboard completely around. He corrected...

I decided to take on Marjorie Eno's color challenge #8 where I had to use the colors listed above. At first I thought the color combination sounded weird, but later realized I had pictures of my daughter with Ariel which would look great with those colors. I am glad I took on the challenge and can't wait to do more! These pictures were taken in June 2007. Last year Ariel was my daughter's favorite Disney Princess and so far this year she still loves her the best. My daughter asked me the other day if she could have a bra like Ariel. I laughed and found it funny that she thinks Ariel is wearing a bra. My children and I love Disneyland. We go every year. I loved going there even before I had my children. One of my sisters went and said she didn't really care for it. I told my friend Andrea (who goes to Disney World every other year) and she said that my sister must have not felt the magic! I finally found my missing layouts! It took me about four hours of digging around in all of my scrapbook stuff before I finally found them. Here are pictures of my daughter looking all grown up going to Preschool (August 2006). Boy I can't wait to see what look she gives me when she is older! She loved her teacher, Miss Jill and learned a lot from her. At first I was scared because she wasn't learning her ABC's, but a year later she is reading and spelling more words every day. She amazes me with her knowledge, which she will only bring out on her terms! Let me explain: The other day my daughter came home from Kindergarten and she missed about 16 out of 20 math problems. And her reading paper she didn't even do, so she missed every question. Her teacher wrote me a note saying my daughter wanted to play instead of do her school work. Another time instead of answering her questions she drew hearts all over her paper! When she wants to do school work she gets 100%, but whe...
