Soccer Ball + Cousin = FUN

My son LOVES playing SOCCER and he is good at it too! I feel SOCCER is the sport he has the talent for, but he likes to play a bunch of other sports too! My son would play SOCCER EVERYDAY if I would let him, but he needs to go to school in the day and in the evenings he is busy with baseball and/or football! He loves to play every position, but forward is his favorite, because he likes scoring goals! I don't care what position he plays...I like watching him play all of them! My son LOVES his COUSINS. They used to live close to us and it was nice to have friends within walking distance! They have since moved and we never see them anymore which makes me sad. What a surprise it was when my son got to play SOCCER with his COUSIN. My son had a BLAST and he wanted the game to last ALL DAY! I wanted it to last longer to, so I could visit my SISTER (whom I never see anymore) longer! My MOM was even at the game, so it was extra special. I'm so glad my mom comes and watches my son play ...

Monday Night....BASEBALL

Image
Today was a beautiful day for baseball. Why can't all the days be this nice? Before the boys bat the ball, they have to look at their coach (on third base) to see how they are suppose to hit the ball. My son was told to hit a bunt...and he was able to run all the way to third base. How crazy is that?

Another Baseball Game? But It's My Bedtime!

Image
My son's second baseball game went until 9:00 pm. By the time the game was over I was ready for bed, but still had a 30 minute drive home! These late baseball games are hard on school nights!

It's a Great Day to Play SOCCER...Right?

Image
My son (and his team) played a good game today! They actually passed the ball to each other and had some great plays. They won the soccer game and were happy!

A BeAuTiFul DaY for BASEBALL!

It was a beautiful day for baseball. I was excited to watch the boys play today. However, I was mad when I took my daughter to the park bathrooms. The past few weeks they have been closed and they finally opened them. They were very dirty and I was upset they even bothered to open the dang doors! My son knew two of the boys on the other team. They both go to school with him (and are a year older).

A New Friend

My daughter met this cute little girl at my son's baseball game. I was happy she found a little girl her same age so she is not totally board and mad at her brother!

Lets Play AnOtHeR GaMe of BASEBALL!

I do not know the rules in baseball, but I am finding out more and more every time I watch my son play. I do not understand what happened during a play in this game. My son batted and ran to first base. All the other boys moved bases and had to run back to their original bases. The referee called my son (and I believe another boy) out. Two of the coaches argued with the ref and I could hear the other team yelling the words "learn to play the game." Anyhow, the referee told one of my son's coaches to leave the game. I wish my girl friend would have been watching the game with me, to explain what the heck happened. I still don't understand what happened.
