My Adventurous Life

My daughter celebrated her 6th birthday last week! I cannot believe my baby girl is 6 years old! Here she is with my dad! My daughter loves her Grandpa! For a while she kept telling me he was her daddy, which was funny! My parents babysat her 5 days a week for 9-10 hours a day, until she was 2 years old, so she probably did feel like he was her daddy! Here is a picture of my daughter with her cake! She pushed the horses on the cake down because they are walking in the mud and sinking! Here is a picture of my Mom with my daughter. My Mom's birthday was a few days before my daughter's birthday, so we celebrated both birthdays together. My daughter loves having a birthday close to Grandmas! Another picture of my silly daughter. Happy Birthday Kitten! You will always be my baby girl. I love you.

I got the idea for this layout from the CTMH Key Notes (volume 7 - Issue 3). I used Game On Level 2 Paper Packet. These pictures are of my son playing goalie. He was so funny because if the ball was on the other end of the field, he would climb the soccer pole or re-tie the soccer net. He found something to keep busy during the entire game. He liked playing goalie, but he liked playing in the field more. NOTE: Click on the image to enlarge!

These pictures are of my daughter from her 2007/2008 Soccer Season. My daughter loves to play sports just to get the treats! I keep hoping she will be the athletic girl I always hoped for, but she isn't! All my daughter talks about is dance and I just don't want to do the dance thing right now.

My children and I spent nine days in Florida at Walt Disney World with my best friend. We had fun, but it is good to be back in the dry heat! My children and I cannot stand the humid weather! The last time I was in Walt Disney World was 15 years ago. I loved it. I decided it is far too big of a place when you have small children. Disneyland is so much better for the young ones because it is smaller.

My niece got married in the Salt Lake City Temple on Saturday, August 2. My daughter received this beautiful bouquet of flowers at the wedding reception.
