Project 365 - Week 3

Sunday was family game night. My children and I played Life. I was losing and eventually had only $100, so my children made up new rules to help me. Wasn't that nice of them?! Monday when my son got home from school and walked into the house the door hit him. He started punching and kicking the wall and the door. He was definately ANGRY! He said he hated school, homework, chores and the stupid door that just hit him. He wanted to just stay home and play on the computer all day, like what he did on Christmas Vacation! WOW, he was really angry?! He had a bad day at school too, his teacher said he was orange (green is the best, yellow is warning, orange is bad). This was the first time (this year) he was orange at school! I got food down him FAST, and had him take a bath and get in his P.J.s. I spent time with him and took some pictures of him with his favorite stuffed animals. He even had me take individual pictures of each stuffed animal. We talked and he got to feeling better ri...

Sunday was game night. We all enjoy playing a board game each Sunday. My children are silly and sometimes like to change the rules as they go along! Monday was back to work and school after a two week Christmas vacation. My children and I had turned into night owls, so it was a challenge to try and get to bed early. At 11:30 pm (Sunday) my son was still awake in his bed. He asked if it was morning already because he was ready to get up. I couldn't sleep myself and decided to get up and take a picture of the clock, since it was now Monday morning and I was not asleep. Notice my alarm is going to go off at 5:00 am! Tuesday I seen these cute white horses at Wells Fargo Bank. My daughter loves horses, so I was determined to get her one. I was told they were free if I opened a children's account. My children now have another bank account and another stuffed animal. ;D Wednesday my daughter asked if she could serve herself a brownie. I told her yes, but had no idea she would c...

Project 365

On January 1st I ordered this amazing kit from Creating Keepsakes called Project 365. I heard about it from fellow bloggers, but didn't plan on getting one myself....until I read Laura's blog . Project 365 is a way to preserve a piece of your life every day this year by taking a picture and/or writing a journal entry for the day. You then slip the picture and/or journal writing into a specifically designed page protector, which goes into the Project 365 binder. What a neat way to capture everyday life in 2009 for my children and I. The pictures above show the first 3 days of 2009: My sister's new baby. My daughter enjoying the last few days of her Christmas vacation with her Leapster. My children playing out in the crisp hard snow.
