My Daughters Behavior Report!

My daughter had a hard time at school this past week. She came home from school on Monday with this behavior report from her P.E. teacher. And on Thursday her classroom teacher met me at the end of the day to tell me she had been misbehaving all week long and I needed to talk with her.

On the way home from school I asked my daughter what happened and she started to cry. I ended up lecturing her and giving her the same speech my father gave me when I was young. I told her when she misbehaves in class she is stealing time from her teacher and her classmates. I reminded her that stealing is a commandment. She stopped crying and said: Mom everyone sins you know. I raised my voice and told her I better never hear about her misbehaving in school anymore and she better pray to Heavenly Father for help.

While still in the car, my daughter began to pray. I was driving and laughing silently, because her prayer was so dang cute. I have since forgotten most of it. I should have quickly wrote it down when I got home. All I can remember now is how she was asking the Lord to help everyone from sinning and she was naming names and the sins they had done!

My daughter may be a challenge, but she sure makes me laugh a lot, and I love her so much for the independent and forthright little girl she is!
