I decided to take on Marjorie Eno's color challenge #8 where I had to use the colors listed above. At first I thought the color combination sounded weird, but later realized I had pictures of my daughter with Ariel which would look great with those colors. I am glad I took on the challenge and can't wait to do more!

These pictures were taken in June 2007. Last year Ariel was my daughter's favorite Disney Princess and so far this year she still loves her the best. My daughter asked me the other day if she could have a bra like Ariel. I laughed and found it funny that she thinks Ariel is wearing a bra.

My children and I love Disneyland. We go every year. I loved going there even before I had my children. One of my sisters went and said she didn't really care for it. I told my friend Andrea (who goes to Disney World every other year) and she said that my sister must have not felt the magic! I agree, she never felt the magic!

Colors: White Daisy, Sunny Yellow, Clover Meadow, Key Lime, and Heavenly Blue (instead of Breeze because I didn't have any Breeze card stock)
Paper: CTMH card stock and retired spring paper
Accents: Brads, ribbon, hemp, edge anchors (cottage) & rub ons
Stamps: CTMH Storytime and Serendipity
Imaging: Classical Look

Too very cute!! I just saw this on the CTMH boards as well. These colors went so well with those pictures! That must have been so much fun!! Thanks for playing ^_~

OH MY GOODNESS...how you could not love Disneyland is beyond me...we definitely feel the magic..LOL. We have a trip planned next month. Ashton's dance group is performing there. We are SO excited! Have you ever eaten at Ariel's grotto in California Adventure? Pricey, but delicious and you get to meet ALL of the Disney princesses and get pictures with them...Ashton LOVED it! I love your scrapbooks...very creative!

Wow Yvonne, I love your scrapbook pages, you have a great eye. So, about the $30.00 camera it uses
120 film and according to everyone who has taken photos with it, you never know how they may turn out. Usually, they have a softer look with a dark circular border around them, but the one with the red and yellow was kindof a surprise, I'm not a photographer so I have no idea how it turned out that way. But, it was fun and I love to try new things.

My 1st Half Marathon of 2013!

I ended 2012 with a GAIN (weight that is) but I started 2013 with a BANG and ran a half marathon yesterday (well 15.1 miles actually)! And my children both ran a 10K (6.2 miles). I am so proud they run with me. The race was inside the Olympic oval which was fun to see. I love my BLING (below). My next half marathon is in 19 days! It will be a FUN run and I cannot wait to run it. I ran 6 half marathons last year and I hope to run even more this year. I ran 2 miles more than a half marathon because the line to turn in the timing chip was long. Funny thing about it is my friend knew she was two laps behind me. Because I kept running so did she. She was so mad when she found out she could have stopped earlier.  After the race my daughter passed out cold. I think she is ready for a day of rest after 3 days of snowboarding and a day of running.

Fun in Florida at Walt Disney World!

My children and I spent nine days in Florida at Walt Disney World with my best friend. We had fun, but it is good to be back in the dry heat! My children and I cannot stand the humid weather! The last time I was in Walt Disney World was 15 years ago. I loved it. I decided it is far too big of a place when you have small children. Disneyland is so much better for the young ones because it is smaller.
