A Page For All Seasons - My New Favorite Scrapbook Store!

I went to the USA Scrapbook Expo a few weeks ago and picked up a bunch of kits from a new on-line store called A Page For All Seasons. The on-line store was created by one of the scrapbook teachers that used to work at the scrapbook store All My Memories (AMM). AMM is now closed.

I always used to stop by AMM when I was working in the Draper area. I loved seeing all the cute classes they taught. I never took a class because I didn't want to make the long trip back to Draper in the evening. So, when I first heard that AMM was closing, I was sad. Now I am happy, because all of those great teachers now make kits for A Page For All Seasons and I can go on-line and buy all the kits I want.

You are the bomb! I love your layouts and wish I took more time to scrap. It seems like I am so busy making cards that I don't take the time to create layouts, which drew me to this wonderful hobby to begin with. Thanks for all your inspiration and ideas. I need to SCRAP!

Kristin and Kim - These layouts were so easy to put together because they were a kit. All I had to do was glue the pages together, no cutting and no thinking!

Erica - You can scraplift all you want, but better yet, you can go to the website and buy the kits too! It's so easy!

Tamara - I love your kits! Thanks for making my scrapbooking easy! I bought more of your kits and should post more down the road! You keep designing these cute layouts, so I can get caught up!

My 1st Half Marathon of 2013!

I ended 2012 with a GAIN (weight that is) but I started 2013 with a BANG and ran a half marathon yesterday (well 15.1 miles actually)! And my children both ran a 10K (6.2 miles). I am so proud they run with me. The race was inside the Olympic oval which was fun to see. I love my BLING (below). My next half marathon is in 19 days! It will be a FUN run and I cannot wait to run it. I ran 6 half marathons last year and I hope to run even more this year. I ran 2 miles more than a half marathon because the line to turn in the timing chip was long. Funny thing about it is my friend knew she was two laps behind me. Because I kept running so did she. She was so mad when she found out she could have stopped earlier.  After the race my daughter passed out cold. I think she is ready for a day of rest after 3 days of snowboarding and a day of running.

Fun in Florida at Walt Disney World!

My children and I spent nine days in Florida at Walt Disney World with my best friend. We had fun, but it is good to be back in the dry heat! My children and I cannot stand the humid weather! The last time I was in Walt Disney World was 15 years ago. I loved it. I decided it is far too big of a place when you have small children. Disneyland is so much better for the young ones because it is smaller.
