Christmas Decorations from my Childhood

If my memory is correct, my Great Grandma Merrill made these Christmas decorations. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, mom and/or dad.) One is a glass Santa Clause made from a wine glass and the other is a red boot made from a large tin can. These two are my favorite Christmas decorations, because they bring back memories from my childhood.

In the black and white photo, I am in the center holding the glass Santa Clause. I am with my two older sisters. Don't you love the short dresses on us?!

As a child, I loved waking up on Christmas morning and finding that Santa Clause had filled both the glass Santa Clause and the red boot full of hard yummy candy!

My Mother passed these Christmas decorations on to me. Thanks so much Mom! Santa Clause no longer fills them with hard yummy candy, but that's okay. My glass Santa Clause now holds old Christmas balls, which my Mom also gave to me. The red boot now holds other old Christmas decorations.
