Mom's Little Pirate

This is not a new layout, but it is one of my favorites, so I wanted to share it with everyone. I have so many layouts of Disneyland, because we go every year! We love that place. We would be sad if we missed a year of going! I was 23 the first time I went and I have been going back every year since! This year will be a little different because we are going to Disney World in Florida. We are excited! And it will be a first for my children.

These picture's were taken 2 years ago in Disneyland. Every time we go to Disneyland I get a picture of my son trying to pull the sword from the stone. One day, after I get a few more pictures, I plan on scrapbooking a layout with a picture of each year, so he can see how he has grown. It should be a cute layout!

I don't always buy mickey ears! My children would have too many if I bought one every time we went. I usually have my children choose some ears to try on so I can take a picture. My son doesn't care to wear the ears anyway, so it works for him!

My daughter however, loves to wear the mickey ears, especially on our trips, so I always bring a pair of ears from an earlier trip and she is happy with that!

C-U-T-E layout! Yes, we are moving to UT sometime between October and January. My husband will be working in W. Jordan. We will definately HAVE to get together! Where do you live again?

My 1st Half Marathon of 2013!

I ended 2012 with a GAIN (weight that is) but I started 2013 with a BANG and ran a half marathon yesterday (well 15.1 miles actually)! And my children both ran a 10K (6.2 miles). I am so proud they run with me. The race was inside the Olympic oval which was fun to see. I love my BLING (below). My next half marathon is in 19 days! It will be a FUN run and I cannot wait to run it. I ran 6 half marathons last year and I hope to run even more this year. I ran 2 miles more than a half marathon because the line to turn in the timing chip was long. Funny thing about it is my friend knew she was two laps behind me. Because I kept running so did she. She was so mad when she found out she could have stopped earlier.  After the race my daughter passed out cold. I think she is ready for a day of rest after 3 days of snowboarding and a day of running.

Fun in Florida at Walt Disney World!

My children and I spent nine days in Florida at Walt Disney World with my best friend. We had fun, but it is good to be back in the dry heat! My children and I cannot stand the humid weather! The last time I was in Walt Disney World was 15 years ago. I loved it. I decided it is far too big of a place when you have small children. Disneyland is so much better for the young ones because it is smaller.
