Coquill River Lighthouse in Bandon, OR

The Coquill River Lighthouse in Bandon, OR. Trying to get to this lighthouse was quite frustrating because there were too many signs pointing in too many directions. It's not that we didn't want to get to the lighthouse, but we just couldn't find the right street to get there. You would think Oregon would have simple directions for tourists to get to each lighthouse, but they didn't.

We soon got hungry after all the driving around so we stopped at Bandon Harbor and got a bite to eat. While we were there we did some shopping and went out on the docks and watched people fishing and crabbing. A person crabbing even showed his catch and described a male from a female crab, which was quite interesting. The other interesting thing was my children had to wear life vests just to go out onto the docks.

It was so cold at this location we had to buy winter hats and jackets just to keep warm.
